Where is your studio?
The studio is in Gentofte, a 4 minute walk from Jægersborg station. There is free off-street parking available.
When to take the maternity photo shooting?
You would like your belly to be nice and big, but not so big that you struggle to stay in certain positions for a period of time. We recommend taking pictures when you’re around 30 weeks pregnant, when the belly is round but not heavy yet.
What can I expect during my maternity session?
The shooting process is quite simple. I will guide you through the process and help get the expression and angles that show the world the best you. You will see your images at several points during your photo shoot so you can provide your feedback. We take your feedback and use it to create images you love!
Do you offer hair/makeup or provide clothes?
Hair and makeup are not included in your session fee. You should come to your session with your hair and makeup done ahead of time. Please bring your own clothes that best suit your personal style.
What should I wear for my maternity photoshoot?
It’s always a good idea to bring some different outfits with you. We aim to give you a variety of looks during your photo shoot.
- choose a dress that accentuates your baby bump and reflects your personality
- simple plain colors or striped that shapes your body
- you can also wear a front opening shirt and unbutton the shirt around your baby bump
- avoid wearing clothes with too many colors, floral prints or checks
- assorted clothes for other people participating (husband and children)
What does retouching mean?
Retouching images is about ensuring quality control. Every little detail is weighed; if it is distracting, it gets removed. Any unwanted blemishes, stray eyebrows, cat hairs, etc, are all removed so that the focus remains on your expression. All images are optimised for brightness, color, and contrast in order to achieve the best look.
